Knowing

If you know me
And my inner child
Then you would surely see

That I see through you
And this game you play
I have been in your shoes
I understand your ways

But you show a cold heart
A door you frequently keep locked
Inside, it tears you apart
But that line you won't cross

If you look you'll see why
I can hear your faint cry

Hi, Kerri
I finally found another NH blogger! Thanks for the comment and for letting me know you're here. I'm adding your link to my blogroll. You are the first NH blogger I've come in contact with in the three years I've been blogging. I live about 60 miles from Londonderry...nice to meet you! I'll be back to read your poetry. :)

shirley, seriously, you live an hour from me? Likewise, I had yet to come across another blogger in the granite state until now! Thanks for linking me. You'll see I was already impresses with your writing, having linked you when I found you. I think it was thru a comment you left on another great poet's blog. :-)

NF - Thank you for showing me another poet's perspective. I guess we are all our own worst critic at times. ;-) You've inspired me to write more often, something I find difficult to accomplish with life's everyday demands.

I still think your poetry rocks.
