If The Shoe Fits

Can you see what I see
Only if you wear my shoes
Can you understand my reason
For not letting you refuse
To set the right example
And hold each other up
While you bruise your hearts together
And share a tainted cup

If my actions cause an outcome
That backlashes to old shoes
Whose laces can't be tied
Due to breakage and wrong clues
Then the lesson won't be learned
And you'll lose your ability
To buy your own new shoes
And not see yourself in me
