What are you doing?
Alone that you are.
Your life seems so small,
You wander not far.

How do you sleep?
Alone every night.
You protect yourself,
Yet have no fright.

When do you cry?
Alone with your thoughts.
Emotions hidden deep,
Are hardly ever sought.

Where have you been?
Alone all your life.
A world of such solitude,
Not brilliant and bright.

Why do you believe?
Alone is not lonely.
Too much is just that,
Alone and not free.
